Paragraf

About

Paragraf is a serif typeface with slightly narrow proportions, a high-waisted structure, and a tall x-height, creating an elegant yet practical tone. Its clean, straight lines and sharp cuts lend a clear, rational personality, making it well-suited for editorial use. The design emphasizes geometric simplicity, with rectangular and parallelogram shapes evident in details like the terminals of ‘r’ and the tails of ‘y.’ The bottom serifs on characters such as ‘a,’ ‘d,’ and ‘u’ reflect this geometric approach. Strokes like the tail of ‘Q,’ the legs of ‘R,’ ‘K,’ and ‘k,’ and the ear of ‘g’ are rendered with crisp, structured forms. Horizontally and vertically cut terminals on thin strokes, seen in ‘c,’ ‘e,’ and ‘t,’ add a sharp, confident finish. The 90-degree bracketed serifs, with their smooth curves connecting to the main strokes, balance modern precision with a touch of classic elegance.

A typeface is a design of letters, numbers and other symbols, to be used in printing or for electronic display. Most typefaces include variations in size (e.g., 24 point), weight (e.g., light, bold), slope (e.g., italic), width (e.g.,condensed), and so on. Each of these variations of the typeface is a font. There are thousands of different typefaces in existence, with new ones being developed constantly.
